Birthday Parties Terms & Conditions

Bookings

• Birthday parties can be booked Monday to Friday between 9.30am and 4pm
• Sorry no birthday parties on weekends or public holidays
• Bookings subject to availability, this applies to school holidays as well
• During school holidays PARTIES ARE ONLY 1 HOUR LONG 9.30am – 2 PM (NO tours in July)
• All tours MUST be pre booked and confirmed with contact phone and mobile number, name and age of birthday child
• Ice-cream is not available for purchase on site

Group Size

• Minimum 12 people and Maximum 35 people (including adults)
• Please ensure that children are accompanied at all times
• All visitors must arrive on site in a vehicle and drive to the lower car park. Public transport or drop-offs and pick-ups are not an option and visitors arriving without a vehicle will be denied access

Timings

• Factory tour 45 minutes
• Parties are welcome to use the Tip Top playground for up to 45 minutes after their tour has finished
• Parties must leave site no later than 5.00pm

Price

• $8.00 per child and $5.00 per adult
• Cash, cheque or EFTPOS - no credit card

On Arrival

• Please report to the Tip Top security gate with your booking name
• Sorry no confirmed booking, no site access
• Security will direct you to the lower car park
• Please arrive 15 minutes before your tour commences and report to the Tour Reception
• Payment on arrival please

Agenda

• Birthday parties are individualised for your tour group
• Come along and learn how Tip Top makes their famous creamy ice cream, this includes a short DVD about the history and operations of Tip Top
• Watch ice cream production from enclosed viewing galleries
• Everyone can have two ice creams of their choice
• The birthday boy/girl will receive a present from Tip Top and a birthday cake to take home. (Please bring a chilli bin to transport the ice cream cake) We suggest a small snack and drink per child for after the tour
• Once the tour has finished join your friends in the Tip Top playground

Facilities

• Kids playground and to and from the tour (children must be accompanied by an adult at all times)
• Sun shades are by the playground but there is no shelter from the rain
• Toilet facilities available in the factory
• Sorry, there is no kitchen area for preparing party food or tables and chairs

Health and Safety

Access

• Wheelchair access is by prior arrangement
• Car and Bus parking in the lower car park in front of the playground
• Pushchairs are not permitted on the factory tour
• Please note there are a large number of stairs
• No one is allowed to walk on site from the main entrance

Emergency Evacuation Procedures

• In the unlikely event of an emergency evacuation, your tour guide will direct you to the nearest designated assembly area 9.

Allergies

• Please know if any members of the tour group have allergies prior to your visit. Ensure an adult takes responsibility for assisting children with allergies in making a safe choice.

Company security car checks

• Your car may be subject to inspection upon entry or departure. Please make sure your group is aware of this so as not to cause any embarrassment
