Factory Tour Birthday Parties

  1. Bookings

    • Birthday parties can be booked Monday to Friday between 9.30am and 4pm
    • Sorry no birthday parties on weekends or public holidays
    • Bookings subject to availability
    • During school holidays PARTIES ARE ONLY 1 HOUR LONG 9.30am – 2 PM (NO tours in July)
    • Ice-cream is not available for purchase on site

  2. Group Size

    • Minimum 12 people and Maximum 35 people (including adults)

  3. Price

    • $8.00 per child and $5.00 per adult
    • Cash or cheque only, sorry NO EFTPOS

  4. Agenda

    • Birthday parties are individualised for your tour group
    • Come along and learn how Tip Top makes their famous creamy ice cream, this includes a short DVD about the history and operations of Tip Top
    • Watch ice cream production from enclosed viewing galleries
    • Everyone can have two ice creams of their choice
    • The birthday boy/girl will receive a present from Tip Top and a birthday cake to take home. (Please bring a chilli bin to transport the ice cream cake)
    • Once the tour has finished join your friends in the Tip Top playground

  5. Timings

    • Factory tour 45 minutes
    • Parties are welcome to use the Tip Top playground for up to 45 minutes after their tour has finished
    • Parties must leave site no later than 5.00pm

  6. Facilities

    • Kids playground (children must be accompanied by an adult at all times)
    • Sun shades are by the playground but there is no shelter from the rain
    • Toilet facilities available in the factory
    • Sorry, there is NOT an enclosed area for groups to wait
    • Sorry, there is no kitchen area for preparing party food

All kids look forward to celebrating their birthday – especially when it includes a Tip Top birthday party.

Enjoy a tour of our ice cream factory, seeing and hearing how we make New Zealand’s most loved ice cream, before getting to taste the results!

Tours operate between 9.30am and 4.00pm. The cost is $8 per child and $5 per adult. Please read our terms and conditions for more information about planning a very happy birthday.
